...a demonstration dairy where visitors can discover all the secrets involved in making Gruyère AOC.
The dairy produces up to 48 wheels of Gruyère AOC every day. The dairy is equipped with four 4800-litre vats and a cellar where up to 7,000 wheels can be stored.
The Gruyère Exhibition is a journey through the senses. Experience the sound of cow bells, the scent of the plantlife found in high pastures, the feel of soft cow hide, admire the work of the cheesemaker and sample authentic Gruyère AOC specialities!
The dairy Restaurant and the Gruyere Market offer typical regional produce and specialties.
How to get there:
Take the N12 motorway, Bulle exit. Go in the direction of Gruyère Moléson, the site is opposite the Pringy-Gruyère train station.
By public transport:
Bulle-Gruyère train (Pringy).
Opening hours:
Every day 9.00 to 18.00, October to May.
Every day 9.00 to 19.00, June to September.
Cheese making:
From 9.00 to 11.00 and 12.30 to 14.30, depending on the season.
